To submit to the most favorable consideration of His Excellency the Governor
an appeal from the widow of late Inspector Smithers of the Police force, praying that Her Majesty's Government will defray the expense of a passage to England for herself and child, and grant a yearly allowance for her support.
Mr. Smithers was constantly under notice from the time of his arrival in Colony until shortly before his death.
